Themes and eCommerce

I'm wondering what the interaction of the eCommerce module is with themes. What determines how many items show across and what size those items are? Do I need to make divs for items in my CSS?

Uploading multiple images - Upload Error 404

Uploading 1 image at a time with the File Manager is fine but when I choose to upload Multiple files... 1 by 1 I get Upload Error 404. How do I go about resolving that? Thanks, Herb.
