IE doesn't like my block, FF and Chrome do

I built a custom block that IE doesn't display properly. Firefox and Chrome do. I am using a custom theme I got from the Marketplace called loadfoov2 - could it have something to do with the theme?

Submitting a Form goes to blank screen

So I have a custom form block and it is supposed to display a message when submitted. But instead, when submitted, it goes to a blank screen. Thus the user doesn't realize that it has been submitted. Any ideas?

Update not performing
